He was also preceded in death by a son-in-law, Earl Myers, and by a brother-in-law, Burt Purdy. His memberships included Grace United Methodist Church, Grace Church’s Men’s Fellowship Group, Morning Dawn Lodge #7, York Rite, Knights Templar, Aladdin Temple Shrine, Gallipolis Shrine Club, and was a Kentucky Colonel.

He was a retired electrician from the Ohio Valley Electric Co. Va., son of the late William and Pearl (Snow) Board.
